Q: What is an airshow?

A: An airshow is an event at which aviators display their flying skills and the capabilities of their aircraft to spectators in aerobatics. Airshows usually include some type of static aircraft displays on the ground for spectators to walk through.

Q: Can I fly into the Lehigh Valley Airshow?

A: Visiting aircraft must arrive before 10:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday and cannot depart earlier than 6:00 PM on either day.

Q: What is the performer schedule?

A: The full performer schedule will be announced in August

Q: Will the airshow be televised?

A: The 2014 airshow will not be televised until after the event, so please come join us for the experience the day of! DVDs of the airshow will also be available for pre-purchase at our merchandise tent, as well as available for purchase online following the event.

Q: Are cameras and video cameras allowed at the event?

A: Yes

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: There is no raindate.

Q: Are tickets refundable?

A: No

Q: Will there be ATM's on site?

A: Yes

Q: Is parking free?

A: Yes.

Q: Is there specific parking and seating for those with disabilities?

A: Parking is available for persons with disabilities. There is no official seating for persons with disabilities at this time. Please keep in mind that most of the spectating area is grassy area, so please plan accordingly.

Q: Am I able to rent wheelchairs at the airshow?

A: No

Q: Do children need tickets?

A: Children under the age of 4 do not need a ticket.

Q: Does the airshow accept credit cards or checks at the gate?

A: Credit cards will be accepted at the gates.

Q: May I bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on?

A: Yes, lawn chairs and blankets are permitted. All belongings will be searched, and guests are responsible for their belongings.

Q: Are coolers and backpacks permitted?

A: No. Coolers and backpacks are not permitted. All belongings will be searched upon arrival.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Pets are not allowed at the airshow. Working dogs will be permitted.

Q: May I leave and re-enter the show?

A: Yes, but only on the same day.

Q: Do I need to buy tickets for both days?

A: Yes. Each day will require a separate ticket, but tickets can be used either day.

Q: What food options are available?

A: There will be a wide variety of food options available. Similar to what you see at Musikfest, Celtic Fest, outdoor festivals, etc.

Q: Is there bleacher seating?

A: No

Q: Are first aid facilities found on site?

A: Yes

Q: What are recommended items to bring to an airshow?

A: Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars, cameras, something to sit on are all types of items that may be beneficial at an airshow.

Q: What items are prohibited at the airshow?

A: Coolers, pets, backpacks and weapons.

Q: What attire should I consider?

A: Comfortable. Please keep the weather report in mind when planning attire.

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: Smoking is permitted in designated areas.

Q: Do I need an ID?

A: Personal identification is recommended in the event of an emergency. You will need proof of ID to purchase alcohol at the event.

Q: Will restroom facilities be easily accessible?

A: Yes. Throughout the event.

Q: I have small children. Can I bring a stroller, diaper bag, etc?

A: Yes. These items will be searched upon entrance to the show.

Q: Are there special activities for kids?

A: Yes. There will be no shortage of things to see and do both in the air and on the ground for kids and adults alike.

Q: What other activities will be available on site?

A: Static aircraft display, classic car show, kids area, exhibitors, vendors and more!

Q: Will there be merchandise available to purchase?

A: Yes. Cash or credit will be accepted.
