If the traffic and crowds are too much for you, the 2014 Lehigh Valley Airshow is offering another option this year: backstage passes.
The $100 ticket will get you into the show a day early, Aug. 22, for the practice show, lunch and to meet the performers, according to a news release. The pass includes entry to the airshow Aug. 23 and 24.
All tickets will go on sale June 24; regular admission prices have not been announced. If you’re going with a group, there’s a 10 percent discount for cash purchases of a dozen tickets at the airport, the release says.
This year’s show boasts aircraft displays, a classic car show, flight performances and sky diving demonstrations. Read more about the show here.
Airshow gates open at 9 a.m. for the performances between noon and 4 p.m. at the Lehigh Valley International Airport. Children under 4 get in free and parking is part of admission. Find more information at the airshow’s site, lehighvalleyairshow.com.
